Bandwarz Victory! But a long way to go!

Well, after the drum roll…the dramatic pause of a lifetime! (not really)  Earthtone was named into the elite 8 in the 16th annual Durham Region Bandwarz Competition.  The boys stuck out like a sore thumb in the preliminary round, this could have been a disaster or a blessing, and turned out for the better!  

We just wanna thank all the promoters the event planners from SPRINGBOARD MUSIC who put on such a successful event!  We would also like the thank the judging panel for taking time out of their busy schedules to watch over all the talent each and every week.  Any of the bands who competed against us on May 9th, if you are reading this, please contact us though our website, we are always looking to play shows with new bands for new crowds!  Thanks goes out to Rogers Cable, and DDP studios for there time in taping, interviewing and photographing the band while on stage and after the announcement of the winner.  WE also want to thank the Groove Lounge and the sound men for the night, GREAT JOB, GREAT FACILITY!

Any fans who would like to see some footage of the show and interviews of the band, please watch rogers cable in the durham region on monday night during the news hour!  We will be watching and laughing ourselves at all the wackyness.  If you don’t get a chance to see it on the television because you are out of region or just happen to miss it, then try to get a chance to head to the rogers website, under the bandwarz link there will be all the footage from the May 9th show!
