We are working on trying to join some competitions around the lovely internet and have found one that is ontario based and has a huge grand prize (4 The Rekord). Now there the winner is chosen by the fans after a few months of voting and some shows. We have not booked a show date yet, I think once we have enough votes on the webpage we will be invited to play a show where we can get even more votes. check out how it works!! Its pretty cool.

There are 3 ways to get votes……

1) Online voting (1 vote per fan) Starts SAT, AUGUST 1st 2009

2) Votes for anyone who comes to your show (5 votes for each person coming to see your band)

3) Bonus votes for advanced ticket sales (30 ADVANCED tickets sold gets you an automatic 100 VOTES!!!!)
NOTE; Anything above 30 sold tickets will get you even more bonus votes

Note; There is NO LIMIT to the amount of shows and VOTES you can get by November 1st!

Friday, September 4th THE REVERB all ages event!

NOW…we have set up a one click link to take you directly to the site where you can sign up as a fan.  and vote your head off. I know, i know this is a pain in the ass, so we will be giving some incentives. and if you do a great job spreading the word we will make you the fan of the month for August, September, October, and or November.  This will include a profiling on our blog and myspace, and some input on some of the newest material, yet to be released.  There will be a facebook group sent around to all the fans that will keep you updated on how we ar making out.

IndieLove Radio!

So if you had a chance to listen to the set, it was chilled out, and different then you have heard form us over the last 6-8 months.  Couple acoustic guitars, a bass, and the smallest kit imaginable amount to our Live @ IndieLove Radio Sessions.  The radio station will be playing the songs continually, and we will have some videos of the interview and set up here on the blog in a couple weeks.

We have also (if you haven’t heard) posted our two latest recordings for a free download, please head to the downloads section to hear the songs, and have a copy for free if you feel the need.  One thing the band really likes is constructive criticism, good and bad feedback that will help us get better and take it to a whole new level!  If you could want to help the band out in big ways you can do any of the following for us as a general favour.

1. Call or Email Indie Love Radio and request an Earthtone song! All the time, anytime!

2. Go to OurStage.com and vote for our songs in the competitions, we need help with votes

3. Tell a friend about us.  We are really looking to expand our fan base, if you could send a note out on your facebook or myspace or invite them to become fans, OR direct them to the blog here, we would be GREATLY APPRECIATIVE!

Stay tuned for some big news from the band later this week.  We have some information that may be a surprise to some of you, and for others, not so much of a surprise!  I also wanted to mention once again, we would love feedback at our emails or on here, or Facebook, doesnt matter really.  If you would like to see us do a cover of a certain song, like us to send you any information, or you just wanna know what the lyrics mean in a song don’t hesitate to contact us, lets here what you have to say!
